‘Left of Centre’ can be defined as ‘different’, ‘not of the same opinion as most who just follow others’ and that sums up perfectly what these variety shows are all about. Having multiple shows with Pride Amplified during World Pride, Left of Centre showcases talented performers on variety nights that perfectly express the idea of making your own path.
Last December ‘Left of Centre’ produced ‘A Very Queer Christmas- Left of Centre’ at Meraki Arts Bar, it was an effervescent, colourful (think queer care bear vibes) night that was overloaded with HEART. If you missed this fabulous event do not fret! As part of World Pride 2023 ‘Left of Centre’ has two shows programmed for the Pride Amplified Festival.
‘Left of Centre’ is the brainchild of Brigitta Brown. It is a one-night show that will be like no other Pride Amplified event with Kings, Queens, comedians and all that is in between!
Brigitta Brown (she/her) is an effervescent and clumsy lesbian with a deep love for naps, living in Gadigal country. She is a voice-over artist, actor, drag artist and comedian who moonlights as a secondary Highschool teacher in the mental health sector. Basically, she is a grownup who never really left the teenage realm. A graduate of Theatre Nepean and Second City Toronto she has been frolicking on stages for some time. An Adelaide Fringe Festival review once stated “Brown has one of those voices you could listen to for hours”
A Very Queer Christmas

Produced, performed and hosted by Brigitta Brown along with her merry queer cast of performers, this is one jolly night not to be missed. Get your tickets here!
